Thermodynamic solar heat pump installation, servicing and repairs in Donegal and Sligo.

Thermodynamic solar heat pumps installed, serviced and repaired in Donegal, Sligo and the North West, including Energie systems.

How it works.

A thermodynamic solar heat pump gives you hot water from the heat in the air around you.

Thermodynamic solar: a panel collects heat from sun, rain and air, and a small compressor heats the hot water cylinder55°C1234

Hot water from sun, rain or air

A thin panel outside collects heat from the sun, rain, wind and outdoor air. A small compressor turns that heat into hot water.

  2. 2Refrigerant runs through a sealed loop
  3. 3The solar block, a small compressor, lifts the heat

Good to knowIt doesn't need direct sunshine, so it keeps working at night and on grey Irish days

Why people choose it.

Works day and night

The refrigerant collects heat even when the sun is down, so hot water doesn't depend on the weather.

Rain or shine

The panels gather heat from rain, wind and outdoor air as well as from the sun.

Hot water all year

A steady supply of hot water for showers, baths and taps, every season.

Low running costs

The compressor is small, similar to a fridge's, so it uses little electricity for the hot water it makes.

What we do.

We install, service and repair thermodynamic solar systems, including Energie, the brand we see most.

Installation

Panel, solar block and cylinder supplied and fitted, with the refrigerant work done by an F-Gas certified engineer.

Servicing

Pressure and refrigerant checks, panel and pipework inspection, cylinder and electrical checks, so it keeps running efficiently.

Repairs

No hot water, error codes, leaks or noisy compressors. We find the fault and fix it, including on Energie systems.

Worth knowing.

Did you know?

Nothing to freeze

The panels carry refrigerant, not water, so there is nothing to freeze or boil, and no glass to break.

Did you know?

Not the same as solar PV

Solar PV panels make electricity. Thermodynamic panels collect heat for your hot water.

Did you know?

A yearly service helps

Checks on pressures, connections and the cylinder keep the system efficient and catch small faults early.
